LG G5: Will have 20MP Camera and Snapdragon 820 processor

LG is going to launch LG G5 Smartphone on Feb 21 in an event scheduled to held at 2:00 PM. Rumours have emerged LG is gearing up to launch a brand new smartphone, the LG G5, with a 20MP camera detector and a Snapdragon 820 SoC.

With the LG G4 already five months old in the market, South Korean smartphone manufacturer LG is apparently developing the LG G5 smartphone, a next-gen handset that is rumoured to be launched in Q4 2015.

It is also expected to have a 10MP front camera with an Iris Eye Recognition scanner for increased security, a 4,000mAh battery, and 4G LTE, NFC, GPS, Wi Fi, and Bluetooth support.

According to rumours LG G5 is speculated to be a high-performance handset, its slim and flexible design with a High Definition screen capable of high graphic quality. With the capability to play and record 4K videos, it will also empower users to run high-end games.

The phone is also reported to have enhanced Touch ID technology, and certainly will come with numerous sensors for proximity, gravitation, and pro- light, in addition to face, grin, and multi-gesture detection.


According to recent updates LG is rumoured to announce G5 smartphone at MWC 2016 event. With a release date on hand, it might be speculated the LG G5 will be formally introduced during late November or the first week of December with a reported $900 price tag.
